Proofread

A public timestamp for every final text.

Proofread tracks timestamp manifests per title, so readers can distinguish a published, anchored version from drafts and later edits.

Why it matters

Bitcoin timestamping proves this version existed at a specific time.

Proofread hashes the book files into a manifest, then anchors that manifest with OpenTimestamps on Bitcoin. The blockchain does not store the book. It stores durable evidence that this exact set of files already existed when the Bitcoin block was mined. If any chapter, translation, or metadata file changes later, its hash changes and the proof no longer matches. That gives readers a simple way to verify integrity over time.
